Daniel Hernández-Salazar has dedicated a large part of his career as a photographer to documenting and representing, through his artistic work, the events and aftermath of the Guatemalan armed conflict. His most recognized work is the Clarification polyptych, made up of four images representing angels with bone wings from a clandestine grave. This work was created by him to illustrate the covers of the report Guatemala never again, published by the Human Rights Office of the Archbishopric of Guatemala-ODHAG in 1998.

Daniel Hernández-Salazar ha dedicado gran parte de su carrera como fotógrafo a documentar y a representar, por medio de su trabajo artístico, los eventos y secuelas del conflicto armado guatemalteco. Su obra más reconocida es el políptico Esclarecimiento, compuesto por cuatro imágenes que representan ángeles con alas de huesos provenientes de una fosa clandestina. Esta obra fue creada por él para ilustrar las portadas del informe Guatemala nunca más, publicado por la Oficina de Derechos Humanos del Arzobispado de Guatemala-ODHAG en 1998.
